I would rate the past year as a great experience! They are fairly organized, and there are rare problems. The teachers were kind and understanding.

I can’t believe I see many reviews of bullying in this school. My sister and I went to this school, and we didn’t see any at all. Also, they give out a descent amount of homework, 1 to 2 hours. There are amazing electives in this school. I recommend going to the Physical Education or Art. I went there in 7th and 8th. The teachers were kind and equal to every person in the class. I really consider going to Santan Junior High. Your going to love it!

The teachers at this school really helped me fit in after coming in during my eighth grade year, not knowing anyone. The 8A Math teacher helped me not to be bothered by failure, and taught math in a way that I loved. She helped me love math so much more. Every teacher here is so helpful and caring and care so much about the students, and not just trying to get the parents to like them. I loved this school!

I went to this school for 7th grade (2015-2016 school year). For my overall experience, this school was not academically challenging at all, and there was plenty of rubbish that I'd rather forget than remember. I guess each student is different, but for someone like me, this school was a piece of pie. Here I have a pros and cons list set up:Pros-*the lunches are decent *cleanliness is well kept (although, the restrooms weren't the best)*for students who are inclined with sports, this school is the glass slipper to your Cinderella Cons-*some of the teachers don't really 'push' their students with regard to some subject areas (this includes the honors classes- I took both of them, so I'd know)*there's a lot of drama/gossip that ought to be avoided (it's junior high though, this shouldn't be a surprise) "Oh my Goddd, what a s*u*"*since there are many kids, the hallways tend to be packed (some kiddos can't differentiate between their right and left apparently); yeah, it's best to choose the RIGHT direction :') THANK YOU*foul language is inevitable <--- do understand this (I was guilty of it myself) XD*this school doesn't allow students to be on their phones/technology during times of recreation (i.e. lunch)-I say that this is stupid because schools that do better than this school in standardized test scores allow it (e.g. ACP)If you are going to attend here, or if your son/daughter is going to attend here, please be aware that this is a big school that offers a good sports program, but doesn't necessarily challenge students in core subject areas. A different class of students come each year (obviously), so it wouldn't be fair to base an entire school on the students that come and go within 1-2 years. Although, from my own experience in the 2015-2016 school year, the students weren't the best, as I had described in the cons section. With this review, I wish those of you coming here good luck.
