The cafeteria food is horrendous, the student store is overpriced. There are not enough or long enough brakes to actually use the restroom between classes like it is required. The administration staff has completely failed at handling the pandemic and although it has been given plenty of time, the school keeps revising its systems, giving students more work. As of right now, students participating in online school, have to complete all the work for both quarter one and quarter two in the time span of only one quarter.

Great experience for both of my kids

This school all in all was a great place to learn. Not just academically but socially as well. I took many advanced and honors classes, and had some excellent teachers that could move to any surrounding school and be paid more. The teachers stay because they care about the students, even with the broken administrative bureaucracy. The class sizes are great, probably an average of 24 students per class. Most students have known each other since first grade or kindergarten, so we all have at least a mutual respect for each other. Being so small (less than 600 kids), there are many opportunities to join clubs and become involved in the school to get the important social aspect of high school. No, this school is not like BASIS, breeding the geniuses of tomorrow, but it does provide a decent education and it gives you social skills valuable to enter the workforce.

We love the school and are happy we chose to move to the community. Our boys are doing well and making good friends. Because it is a small school there are many opportunities to get involved. Our boys play multiple sports, are active in a number of clubs, and serve on student council. The principal is young and involved.
