The school has a small town/family feel. The teachers are top notch! It's a nice mix of experience and new teaching talent. I picked this school for my child because of the dual language program which is fabulous. I am very pleased with the eduction my child has received. They also have a wonderful Pre K program and Kindergarten prep program. I'm not sure if the reviews are outdated but I don't see the issues that people have complained in the last. If it was an issue at some point, it has been corrected and in a positive growth direction. Teachers come to this school and don't leave. If they leave they come back because they miss the community and culture of the school.

My 2 favorite things about the school that kept our family on campus the last 16 years. 1. Gilbert El has a wonderful small town feel. Great traditions, and returning alumni contribute to the community.2. The Dual Language programs has been a wonderful experience for my kids and our family.

We loved this school before the current principal stepped in. Now teachers don't stay. The office staff frequently "drop the ball" when it comes to communication. The principal has a very practiced apology speech, and gives your student "a free pass or a special break" to excuse their inconsistencies. The school and staff used to be top notch but not anymore. It's the students that suffer
