Very unhappy with this school. My children attended for 3 months before I had enough. The school really needs to improve their substitute teacher procedures. The teacher misplaced my 6 year old putting her in an after school classroom. My husband could NOT find our little girl at pick up. We were frantic. The sub volunteered the information that she did not get a list of the students and wasn't sure we're the students were to go. We felt our children were unsafe since then. Ms. DiPaola however seems so be a loving teacher and we thank her for her time with our child. Ms. Moyer really needs to better her communication skills with parents. All her negativity is not something a parent wants to hear nearly every day about their child. Throw in some positive too.

Bici South is an ok school, the Principal is very nice and does seem to care about her job, she encourages parent involvement and the turn out for parents is great, they have a lot of family oriented activities for holidays like fairs and dances which the kids really love. Kids look happy here. I'd have to say that the only draw backs are that parents are all crowded in front of the school along with all the students during pick up and the line for the cars is down the street sometimes. Also, the woman who runs the after school Extended Day program at this school is horrible and obnoxious. She harasses parents and is so rude and lazy, just truly a monster of a person and her "help" staff are lazy and rude teenagers that I wouldn't want anywhere near my children and especially not want them to be responsible for them. There are problems of bullying that are never addressed even though they boast an anti bully slogan, and sometimes common sense is a virtue with some staff members. This school also does not have any after school tutoring programs but did have a summer reading program which was nice.
