4/10. They block every site so you can't even simply listen to music, or even look up things for your essay. The lunch is more improved than before, but still not too good. It is sometimes soggy or you can find hair in it. The taste is artificial and once a friend of mine found paper towel in her pizza crust. Milk is expired, utensils are cheap. The passing period is short so if you're on one side of the school, you need to get to your locker, then the other side of the school, in a minute. Teachers don't explain classwork or homework fully and leave students stressed and confused. I have spotted several students crying. Classroom and sporting equipment is dated and broken. Lights are broken and clocks don't work. Peers are disrespectful in both classrooms and hallways. They are loud and disruptive, pushing each other in the hallways and making out in the girls' restroom. Teachers restrict creativity and give out detentions for unreasonable things, for an unreasonable amount of time. Classrooms are overcrowded and you most of the time don't get the electives you chose. Lunch room is too small for the whole 3 grades in middle school to share. In conclusion, it sucks.

My experience at this school has been mostly positive but at some points negative. I’d rate my experience a 6.5/10

It's been a nightmare from the beginning. I had been warned by another parent of how bad it was there. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Now I am regretting it it has been one incident after another and I do not feel my child is safe there. I am currently trying to get my child in another school.

There should be 2.5 stars for 'below average'. There are a few shining stars that make this school worth while. You will have to hope for the best and keep your fingers crossed. It's a very unorganized school that needs to catch-up with more modern ways of doing things, but this could just be an Arizona thing. Administration could be a little friendlier and the school suffers from a healthy dose of small-town politics. Expect to not always know what's happening unless you're a helicopter parent, of which there are many. Things were beginning to improve with Dr. Hagerman but now it looks like he is leaving so everyone should just keep their fingers crossed.
