Westwood High School

I've been attending Westwood for the past few years and I truly believe that our school and its teachers give it their all to help us students succeed. Mr. Gilmore is an amazing principal who truly deserves more respect .The only reason I give WHS a four star rating is because there are alot of students who tend to be disrespectful and don't really care much about their future and the staff is sometimes clueless in the classes we need to graduate. However I do suggest sending your child here.

Horrible, I am tired of getting called racial slurs and not being able to do something about it, hints the reason it's predominantly white and Mexican and we are all divided.

It was fine. i take school as an opportunity so i did fine, and had a good year but to people who slack off this school is great because there is not a lot of discipline.

I liked this school the best when Dr. Richard was Principal. That year, the school had the highest testing gains of any HS in Mesa, he got so many kids to pass their classes and school spirit went up. He really worked hard and cared about all kids, not just the IB students. He also had coach Stowers there doing football and Stowers left the year after Dr. Richard. If they had both stayed it would have been a really amazing place. Too bad he left, I guess the school is just average now.
