I couldn't be more impressed with Principal Heidi Caine and the teachers at Apache. Ms. Caine boasts about Apache being a special place because of the students and the teachers, and she has every reason to be proud. I have met with her on a number of occasions and she always treats the students with great respect and care. She is extraordinarily concerned about their feelings and well being and as I have children that attended other elementary schools in the PUSD, I can honestly say that she is an exceptional Principal.April Rodriguez is a very passionate teacher. She loves what she does, and it shows. She challenges her students with creative and innovative projects and assignments and she inspires them to become better people.Deidre Trujillo and Megan Reese are two of the most compassionate and thoughtful teachers that I have ever had the privilege to meet. They showed my daughter unusual kindness by coming to our home, with a gift, after a very unfortunate Secret Santa experience. While their gift was greatly appreciated, their examples of goodwill and empathy will be remembered and emulated. Apache is a very special school indeed.

It's a student friendly school. Overall a great learning environment. Teachers are absolutely instrumental to helping my daughter reach her best potentials academically.

Apache is a really wholesome, friendly and warm environment. My children, who are now 12 and 10 have been going there since pre-k (when they had it). Many of the teachers and staff go out of their way to connect on a real personal level with the students. They put in a lot of extra hours for the children as well. The curriculum is not necessarily something I can hold the school responsible for entirely as it falls upon the district to perfect that. Many of the teachers do a great job of putting a unique spin to keep the kids' interest. There has always been a lot of open communication between the administration, parents and teachers.
