I love AMS! The teacher says "kids will even fight against teachers!" I have been at this school a long time and no student has ever fought me. I think it's really about building up strong relationships with students and parents. Those of us that take the time to show how much we care receive that back in full force. I love this community.

Needs more parents to involve. I think this school is alright. Parents should support their kids more.

This school in my opinion is GREAT! I actually wish there was more parental involvement with the various committees and groups that they have available. It always seems to be the same parents that show up to each of these meetings. Maybe if the parents took a more active role with their OWN kids lives and not expect the teachers & adnministrators to deal with the riff-raff then they could focus on educating the kids. I do hate to admit it , but yes, there appears to be some really ineffective teachers. I have seen a change...and it is in a good direction. I support AMS and maybe the parents that think the school is responsible for baby sitting their kids should come to the meetings and be a part of the solutions as opposed to perpetuating the problems.

Terrible. The kids are always getting into fights, graffiti is all over the place and the teachers are getting more and more tense as the day passes. I'm a student that says to all parents out there, If you want your kid to suck up all the negativity of AMS and it's immature kids, you might as well dump your kid on the streets and teach him the way of the streets. Thank you. -Rod
