The worst school ever. My child cried every day for a month. Teacher and principal saw it. They never told us about it until things got out of control.
I love this school! I am the classic over-protective mom of two young boys. One of my sons has challenges (currently finding out if he is on the 'Spectrum'). His last year of school was filled with outbursts, behavioral issues, and other issues new to us. Marta Maynard, Quail Run's principal, not only had extraordinary patience with him, but also took the time to meet with me to see how she and the school could support us through the difficult time. She and his teacher made a regular point of looping me in on his successes (and challenges) every step of the way - she even once walked him around the school in an effort to calm him down. Believe me, as a parent of a child with difficulties, moments like these of compassion and patience can make all the difference in the world to a child's sense of self. I thank Marta and this school for the humanity and patience they have shown us. This is exactly the place for us - thank you Quail Run! <3
Great school, bright teachers , friendly staff, excellent results. What else you can want from a school? I love it, my son loves it.
Quail Run is truly an outstanding school for a child's primary years because of the academic rigor, open-minded staff and students, and multicultural diversity. Students get to experience Spanish classes from kindergarten through sixth grades. Second language learning is best absorbed during the early learning stages because the brain is very receptive and malleable to new sounds, words, and other expressive means. It was a pleasure to work with the same group of students for five years while I taught at Quail Run. Once a student enrolls at Quail Run, he or she wants to stay to complete the Primary Years' International Baccalaureate curriculum.
