I have had four children attend this school starting in 2007 until 2017 when I pulled my younger 2 out. My son is special needs and not only did Roadrunner’s refuse to offer interventions to help him succeed, they lost him on campus on two separate occasions. The new principal is more worried about her own agenda as opposed to helping each child succeed in her school. Overall you can’t expect much I suppose from a low income, over populated school.

I have two kids at this school. One is gifted and receives gifted services, and the other needs a little more help and receives interventions in the classroom. There are lots of resources to support both of my children and help them to learn in the best way that works for them!

I’ve got 2 kids at Roadrunner and I’m so happy they go there. They have amazing teachers that care about them and want them to do well and grow to become even better. The entire staff is focused on meeting the needs of the students, from classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, support staff, front office, and administration. As a former Roadrunner, I love that my kids are there. We’re working on building a wonderful community and increasing parent volunteers.

Strong staff, teachers work together to teach the newest standards and they do it effectively. The teachers are constantly going to professional development to make them stronger and more effective. There are plenty of opportunities for intervention if a student is falling behind, and challenges for students who are ahead of the game. Very active PTO, invested Principal, such a great environment
