Sunnyslope Elementary School

Many positive programs have been put in place for the success of the students and parent involvement.

My experience at Sunnyslope Elementary has been extremely disappointing. The principal at Sunnyslope Elementary discourages parent involvement, which I think is key to a child success. The Principal also does not take the time to get to know the children on a personal level and his approach to discipline is extreme with little effort to resolve the underlying issue. In addition he is extremely difficult to communicate with.

it was a miserable week. my son had a heart condition that made learning a little harder for him and I feel that this teacher had very little compassion, tolerance, and patience for him and she probably would have ignored him had his heart given him trouble. I'm glad I pulled him out when I did. not ALL teachers deserve raises

I feel like my daughter is not being encourage to learn more then what is offered. she is in a box out their by teachers and admin. she is more concerned about her behavior rating (1-4, 4 being the best you can be) rather then actually paying attention and may be missing out on key concepts when it comes to learning how to read. I see it in her eyes, everyday she is less excited then the day before to attend this pos school. fuckign joke.
