Outside of a couple of teachers who have been pleasant to work with, the school on the whole is an indictment on the state of the public school system in Arizona. The tone of the school is set from the top, and that tone is deaf.

There have been some very positive changes since January. The new principal seems to be more involved and has cracked down on the discipline. We would still like to see more communication from the teachers but things aren't going to change overnight. It is going to take time but the school is well on its way.

Kindergarden was great, my daughter had an amazing teacher. My daughter is now in first grade and I am not happy with the teacher what so ever. She doesn't communicate with the parents. My daughter came home with a packet of work she did in class that was graded incorrectly. The whole page was done wrong and she got an A. She has no idea how to add or subtract and we are halfway through 1st grade. I do my best to work with her but she doesn't even know it. Like she isn't even learning it at all.

Everyone is very nice made my son feel welcome he loves the school and so do I.
