Our youngest is finishing her final year at Grayhawk, and our oldest finished last year. Both had a wonderful elementary school experience, great teachers throughout their time there and made lots of good friends. The leadership past couple years has been great. Friendly, open, environment with lots of great learning opportunities. The All Things EQ leadership program for the 6th graders was very beneficial to both our children. We would recommend this school without question to other families.

We’ve been at Grayhawk for 6 years now and I can’t imagine a better place for my children to grow and learn. It’s been a blessing for us and we will miss it tremendously once 6th grade is over.

Poor. Teachers here are burnt out and not supportive. The principal is unprofessional. Maybe it was a good school a decade ago but now this school is going downhill.

We've had 2 kids attend Grayhawk! The experience has been wonderful! My 8th grader has been so well prepared for middle school. Scottsdale Prep is giving the same Caesar stem words to my 8th grader that my 5th grader has in honors reading. Our 8th grader also read Midsummer Night's Dream in 5th grade in honors reading at Grayhawk, and just read it again at Scottsdale Prep in 8th grade. Same book! Both were the unbridged version! The teachers at Grayhawk care about the kids well being. They work them hard at school and don't need to overload the kids with homework to teach the lesson. The Core Knowledge Curriculum is so solid. We travel a lot and when we've been in different parts of the country and world, we always get comments from people about how impressed they are with our kids knowledge of the place we are visiting. We also love how they teach them to use a planner early to teach them to be organized about their school work! We give Grayhawk Elementary an A plus!
