Parkview Elementary School

Very low. I don’t like Dysart School district or their transportation or their boundaries

I loved the students, fellow teachers, seeing the growth and development of my students, but the leadership fell short of my expectations. When the teachers, with the union's assistance (and our spouses, significant others, etc) collectively attempted to address our issues with the superintendent, we were shot down and told the leadership can do whatever they want.

We left as there are long term subs filling in for teachers that can't be found. They also can't find any substitutesSomething has to be done and quick to make conditions better so teachers want to stay. Where are the leaders and what are they doing? I just heard they gave the teachers a mere 1 percent raise. No wonder.

This school is one of the best. It might not be well funded or fancy fancy but it's enough. The staff is great. When you actually get to know them they're wonderful. They will make you laugh and care about your students and make a connection with them. And of course teach your students. Which in the end is all that really matters.
