Worst district ever!! Get your kids out of Tusd and save their insanity and self esteem and save yourself the heartache of watching them tear down your kids and making their anxiety and depression worse!

Horrible, I feel unheard, the lack of consideration, and lack of learning. My child is mentally disabled but she is not impaired from learning. She is no a vegetable, she needs to learn. You guys should keep an accurate dietary book. Instead of just giving her Ensure milk I provide, give her some food. I know the cafeteria can puree it. No one can live off of Milk. And to tell me its a LUXARY to have time to feed her, is baffling. My Child can not feed herself nor walk or talk to tell she is hungry. Wheelchairs are not cheap and the time to get the wheel cheer is not easy process. So when a wheelchair is with the child please take care of it. MY CHILD'S brand new Wheelchair brakes broke a couple of days after getting it and keeps on braking every other week. A professional told me somebody might be using their feet to lock the wheel chair and puts to much weight on it. PLEASE TAKE BE MORE RESPONSIBLE.

I have two children at VMS. The staff is not the issue. I have never had a problem with a staff member not giving me information or including me in my child's education. The only problem my kids seem to experience is minor bullying or other kids who don't want to be there taking time away from students that do. The education they have received is excellent, but it is due to parent/teacher cooperation. You have to put forth effort to be involved in what your kids are doing. The school is not going to bend over backwards begging you to be involved.
