A new housing community is cropping up in Sacramento and looking for the city’s approval to use 14 lots in Del Paso Heights and Oak Park

Per the Sacramento Business Journal, developer Del Paso Homes is looking to build single-family homes on the empty lots to continue growing the Heritage at Del Paso Nuevo master-planned community.

Heritage at Del Paso Nuevo will feature five floorplans spread among the homes. The three- to four-bedroom residences will all be built as two-story smart homes. While the community does have a handful of homes already completed, the developer is looking to expand. All homes will be outfitted with GE appliances, granite countertops, and two-car garages.

The land — which was once a horse-breeding farm — is now constructed around a central park and is close to the Del Paso Boulevard Plaza and Arden Fair Mall.

When the community first launched in March of last year, the initial homes were priced starting in the $220,000s and ranged in size from 1,571 to 2,184 square feet.
