California West already has two San Diego County residential developments underway for 2017 and recently announced that they’ll soon begin construction on another one in 2018.

The homebuilder has already commenced construction on model homes for Westerly, its 71-home subdivision in San Marcos. As we previously noted, this 13-acre development is part of Brookfield Residential's 253-acre Rancho Tesoro community. Westerly homes will range between 2,800 and 3,521 square feet, include four or five bedrooms, and come with two-car garages. The KTGY Group will offer three different floor plans.

The other 2017 construction is Encinitas Enclave, a collection of 19 estate-style luxury residences encompassing as much as 5,178 square feet, up to six bedrooms and five-and-a-half baths, and including a four-car garage.

The company also announced that they plan to begin construction on S.L. Rey in Bonsall sometime in 2018 as well. The community will be surrounded by the former San Luis Rey Downs golf course, which itself will be converted into a nature preserve. Single-family homes will boast as much as 3,382 square feet of living space and offer an outdoor lifestyle with access to walking and biking trails.

Prices have not been announced but homes in all three communities are expected to be available for purchase sometime in 2017.
