San Diego County continues to experience a dip in not only home sales, but also housing inventory, per San Diego Metro, who recently shared the latest figures from the Greater San Diego Association of Realtors.

While the sales of single-family homes were down two percent from September to October, they are down seven percent from last year. Resale homes are also down two percent from the same period a year ago. Similarly, condos and townhomes saw an eight percent decrease from last year and a three percent decrease from September to October.

Median prices for single-family homes, condos, and townhomes has remained mostly the same. Single-family homes were unchanged at $611,250, while condos and townhomes experienced an increase of one percent to $407,000. Prices of all property types, however, have risen about eight percent since last year.

The data also showed that the most single-family home sales could be found in Fallbrook (58), Rancho Bernardo East (47), Spring Valley (46), El Cajon (45) and Santee (42).
