Information pulled from Midwest Real Estate Data shows that Lincoln Park is the leading Chicago neighborhood for the sale of attached, million-dollar homes in the third quarter of this year, according to DNAinfo

Previously, North Center was the top neighborhood for the sale of attached, million-dollar homes. In the third quarter of this year, 34 attached homes sold for $1 million or more in Lincoln Park. This represents a 79 percent increase in sales compared to last year. The median sales price was $1.35 million, up 15 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the report.

Lincoln Park also overtook North Center in the sale of detached, million-dollar homes. Buyers bought 45 detached homes for $1 million or more in Lincoln Park in the third quarter. Sales increased 7.1 percent compared to last year. The median sales price increased 5.4 percent to $1.66 million, according to the report.

DNAinfo reports that Lakeview and West Town are also top neighborhoods for million-dollar home sales. A total of 32 Lakeview homes sold for a median price of $1.53 million, while 28 West Town homes sold for a median price of $1.24 million.
