Though few details about the development planned for the area have been revealed, developer Moishe Mana has been assembling land close to Flagler Street in Downtown Miami, per The Daily Business Review.

Mana’s company recently closed on its 48th property in the area with the $9.27 million purchase of a 15,000-square-foot vacant parcel at 151 NE First Ave. Other downtown properties Mana has purchased recently include 30 E. Flagler St. and the Biscayne Building at 19 W. Flagler St. The properties aren’t all adjacent but are within walking distance of one other.

So what does Mana have planned? The proposed redevelopment will be a mixed-use project, including residential, office, and retail, although no other project details have been identified.

Mana also has assembled property in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood where he is developing a mixed-use project with residences, offices, a cultural center, and a trade center with partners from Asia and Latin America. In September 2016, the Miami City Commission approved a special area plan for the project, which allows special zoning for projects bigger than nine acres. Under the plan, developers are permitted to build higher density developments in exchange for including public amenities, such as a park.

Despite the sale, Mana says he has put the downtown project on hold while the Wynwood plans progress.
