As a result of an environmental review process by Los Angeles County, new details have emerged around the Koreatown Vermont Corridor project. Urbanize LA provided details from the environment report which expands upon all three Vermont Corridor building sites.

Property one, located at 510-532 South Vermont Ave., would replace current county buildings with a 21-story tower of office buildings, retail space, and parking. Immediately south, closer to West 6th Avenue, a second structure would be replaced with a mixed-use housing (apartments) and retail space. It would also bring an additional parking structure to the space, replacing an existing office building.

The third Vermont Corridor property would be located at 427-433 South Vermont Ave. The current county office building would be replaced with a six-story building geared toward affordable housing for homeless seniors, as well as three stories of underground parking and a community center.

Project costs are estimated at $450 million total and the properties will be developed by Trammell Crow Company. All properties included in the Vermont Corridor project are city-owned.
