Real Estate Daily News just reported on the purchase of 71 finished lots by builders Richmond American Homes in Rancho Sahuarita’s master-planned community Entrada La Villita.

The 40’x90’ lots sold for $3.266 million ($46,000 per lot) only adding to the certainty that new home builds are back in high demand, according to the seller’s representative, Ted Herman. He said they had been waiting for retail to match their price point and that “the outlook for new home builders looks great again.”

Richmond American Homes is “delighted” to be building in Sahuarita again. Along with existing amenities in the Entrada La Villita community like Club Rancho Sahuarita, Sahuarita Lake, and nine parks with 17 miles of pedestrian and cycling trails, the new community will offer four two-story floor plans, though specifics have yet to be revealed.

The location has been a big draw for many residents of the community, just 20 minutes south of Downtown Tucson. Currently builders Insight Homes, D.R. Horton, and KB Homes are finishing out developments of neighboring community Estrada del Rio of the Rancho Sahuarita master-planned community, with the potential for 560 lots to be finished, planned in six-phases.

Richmond is anticipating the opening of the homes in the fall of 2018.
