According to the Dallas Morning News, construction is underway on Parkside at Alliance Town Center, a 3.5-acre restaurant and entertainment venue that Hillwood is adding to its mammoth 18,000-acre AllianceTexas in North Fort Worth.

Two popular eateries — Grub Burger Bar and Shell Shack — have already leased spaces, which are slated to open for business in summer 2018.

Parkside at Alliance Town Center will also offer plenty of recreational and entertainment options as well as views of the 14-acre Bluestem Park.

"We are combining unique restaurants, live music and recreational activities with the family programming that is already taking place at Bluestem Park to create a new, highly-desired food and beverage destination," Mark Miller, vice president of Hillwood, said in a statement.

Parkside is part of the 900-acre Alliance at Town Center, an urban community in AllianceTexas that contains apartments, shops, offices and medical facilities.

The brainchild of Ross Perot Jr. and Hillwood, the dynamic business side of AllianceTexas includes more than 43 million square feet of corporate space, over 470 corporate residents, and a combined workforce exceeding 47,500 employees.
