Legacy Hall is open for business and serving up a broad mix food, beverages, and culture at Legacy West in Plano. According to the Dallas Business Journal, the three-story, 55,000-square-foot facility is the first European-style food hall to debut in North Texas.

Between urban dwellers in Legacy West and employees at Toyota North American Headquarters, JPMorgan Chase, Liberty Mutual Insurance, FedEx, and other companies, Legacy Hall’s 22 food stalls and half-a-dozen bars are within walking distance for 15,000 to 20,000 prospect customers.

Most of the food stalls are located on the ground floor, which seats 150 to 175 people. Sea Breeze Lobsta and Chowda House occupy the second floor along with additional seating for 250 guests and an indoor-outdoor bar that includes a balcony overlooking the Box Garden.

The third floor will house the soon-to-open Unlawful Assembly Brewing Company and Tap Room. The operation contains 21 tanks that curate the new brewery’s portfolio of year-round and rotating seasonal beer. The tap room will open with six premium craft beers.

The Box Garden, which will creatively contain more eateries and bars in storage containers, is slated to open in spring 2018 adjacent to Legacy Hall. In addition to hosting live concerts and events on its 600-square-foot stage, a mammoth LED screen will provide continuous entertainment. Seating capacity is 500, and standing-room-only capacity is 1,500.

Once the Box Garden opens Legacy Hall is expected to draw 30,000 foodies and craft beverage connoisseurs a week, according to the report.
