If you’re a regular runner and haven’t already considered calling San Diego home, this should push that decision past the finish line.

According to online apartment rental service Zumper, San Diego is the number one place [out of 35 cities] for runners in the country, coming in with a grade of A+. The ranking was based on average temperature, the quantity of greenspace, rental affordability, and the number of organized races and events.

“Sunny and active San Diego topped our list as the best city for runners in America,” said Zumper. “The city mixes incredible running weather with plentiful parkland acreage. Also, given the city’s desirability, rent prices are also relatively affordable.”

Per their stats, 23.2 percent of the city is parkland and there is 34.9 percent of park acres per 1,000 residents, giving runners plenty of room. 158 official races were held in the city this year.

San Antonio, Houston, Las Vegas and Phoenix rounded out the remaining top five.
