Developer BLDG Partners will be bringing seven new small-lot townhomes to the Hancock Park neighborhood, according to a report by the Real Deal. The units, dubbed the Sevens, will be located at 4701 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles. Each unit is planned to be between 2,200 and 2,500 square feet, featuring between three and four bedrooms. All units will be three levels with four bathrooms, a two-car garage, and a rooftop terrace.

According to the Real Deal, LA’s small lot ordinance (passed in 2005) helped make this happen, taking advantage of the allowance for more multi-family builds on singular lots. The ordinance opens up brand new areas for potential projects like the Sevens, which brings a residential space into a predominantly commercial area.

The Park Mile project is located right between Central LA and Mid-Wilshire and is surrounded by main thoroughfares on all sides. On top of Wilshire Boulevard, itself a central road for transportation, the Sevens has Interstate 10 Highway to the south, Santa Monica Boulevard to the north, and the 101 California State Freeway to the east.

The property is also a short trip from local attractions like Hancock Park, the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and The Grove shopping center.

Representatives from BLDG Partners have said the properties will be completed this summer. All units are priced between $1.7 million and $2 million.
