Touchstone Communities proposed building 332 single-family homes in central Valley Center on a 74-acre site, located northwest of the intersection of Mirar De Valle Road and Valley Center Road. Named Park Circle, the project recently received approval from the North County Board of Supervisors, already has the approval of the Valley Center Community Planning Group, and meets the standards of the county’s General Plan.

Park Circle will include 167 detached homes that will be built on small lots, in clusters of six, eight or 10, as well as 101 single-family homes. According to Builder Online, home prices will be in the $400,000 to $600,000 range.

Planned amenities include basketball courts, an events stage, fire pits, two acres of private parks and trails, a fitness area, a dog park, and a 2.6-acre public park. Park Circle plans also include four retail buildings and a 1,800-square-foot restaurant across a 4.2 acre commercial space.
