As part of a recent development boom around the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station in Reston, Virginia—right outside D.C.—a developer is planning a big residential project for the area.

Arlington-based developer Rooney Properties is building 175 multi-family residential units and 13 townhomes on a 2.9-acre site.

Nearly 3,000 housing units are planned for the area around the Metro stop, including multi-family projects and a Transit-Oriented Development with luxury condos and apartments. Many mixed-use projects with office space, retail, and hotels are in the works as well. Expect density and property values in this part of Reston to keep rising.
