Agoura High School

A damaging experience at this school that is unconscionable.

Environment is fine if a student is performing well but can very quickly turn negative if they stop, and staff do little to help students recover from academic, social, or emotional difficulties. Nearly impossible to catch up if you fall behind. Teachers and staff don't generally seem to care much about students. Administrators transparently care more about protecting themselves in court than protecting students.

My older kids went to a very well known private school, and my son is being just as well served at Agoura High School. He's in the IB program and the teachers are supportive, engaged and committed to their students success.

I have been very pleased with the education of two children at this school and look forward to sending a third. I am thrilled with the breadth of offerings, with the rigor of the academics, and the social support. The music program is spectacular.
