Wood Canyon Elementary School

Wood Canyon is a great school. My daughter has been going there since Kindergarten and we are very pleased with the school, the teachers, and the staff. Go Comets!

Our experience so far has been nothing but positive. Great teachers, great principal, great PTA. We love wood canyon

We began our time at Wood Canyon under the previous principal and had some immediate concerns regarding the lack of passion from leadership. However, under the new principal the school has been revitalized and we are so happy with the care and compassion that the teachers, office staff, and PTA show the students every day. It is a true shame that the old reviews are still on here bringing down the overall rating - if you read them, they are mostly regarding the old principal and do not reflect the school as it is today.

Great School under the new leadership of Mr. Foucart. It feels almost like private school except for a number of kids, which is growing from 400 to 500 students in just one year of new leadership. You could tell people love working there, they love kids. Wood Canyon offers a lot of creativity, fun, activities to choose from. Morning "run club" from 7.10 solves the problem of before school care. After school, they have YMCA on site. We could not be happier with our school.
