I graduated in 2016. I can attest to the AP curriculum that it is top notch. Common core has tainted the common core curriculum like a virus but that's every school now. BCHS as of 2015 was ahead in technology in most areas. Chromebooks are used effectively to supplement learning. BCHS has a great band and theater program and is the only high school in Merced County to incorporate an engineering academy as an option. The AP teachetrs are the best you will find. AP Chemistry with Camp is the best chemistry you will find in California. The arts are also excellent, Freitas is a personal favorite as well as, Newton go APUSH. Admin is great although I'm sure it has changed since I have left. BCHS strives for school pride and unity. Thy gyms not bad. Overall its the best high school in the area for sure.

Well im currently a student at buhach and I thoroughly enjoy the school, the staff are great and funny, especially Mr. Freitas, the school is clean and kept up very well, and is also very well organized, my only issue is that recently we students and staff are being required to wear a photo ID at all times and receive a small punishment if found without one, though it is justified with all the craziness going on in the world.

Who wrote that the Osmer's are great? An Osmer, perhaps. Mr. Osmer has a minimal command of the English language and is proud of the fact that he makes Marines (that is his self-declared goal) and he is proud that he made his son wrestle in a state competition with a 103 degree fever. Is everyone around here OK with this?
