It is very sad to see how this school along with their yearly test scores have just gone down the hill... I have had my child attend this school for the last 2 years and this will be her last. The current principle is leaving to another school and unfortunately for us parents we have to deal with the front office of this school which has a horrible negative and un professional attitude. When my child began to attend there was a gentleman and a lady that attended the front desk and they were both very helpful and welcoming. Now there is only the one lady left and a new lady that is far from professional or even knowing the least bit of parent and student skills. She ignores you upon arrival and is extremely rude and is always chewing on her gum.... very very unprofessional and unfotunately this is the first image we perceive as we walk in the front office and it seems to be the same attitude all around with many of the staff.... any school event is sure to be over crowded and un organized and when you ask a question it is always answered with a rude tone of voice by educators that talk down on the parents and ttreat us as if we are ignorant or do not understand english. So sad

If I could give this school no " star rating" I would. Do your research before enrolling your child in this school

if anyone is thinking of enrolling their child in kinder i have had two of my children with Mrs.Ferreira she is the best kindergarden teacher in that school. Unfortunately i cannot say the same for the principal Dr. Alonzo, even though she does sometimes acknowledge the students at Cesar Chavez, she has poor parent skills, something very well needed at this school!

like all schools it has its good and bad issues! parents are not very well welcomed and its hard to get parent and child involvement! school has very bad API scores and not all the teachers are fit for a proper education!
