I would rate is a 8.5 out of 10. I am a very sensitive and particular person, but I promise you that this is probably a good judgement based off of this school. If you have a kid or are a kid that struggles in school, then they have lots of things such as homework help every other day, and Read Live, and teacher are almost always available after school and during lunch. The library is also available at almost every time that is not class time. They have special things if you don't live in a good situation. My least favorite thing is The food. Don't get me wrong, they have good stuff like ice cream, soda, and pizza. But besides that the meals are disgusting. But it's not that surprising. They have gotten better though, making homemade break fest and meals like pasta and stuff. But all those other days, when they just throw in that packaged stuff. No thank you. If you are planning to move into the area, or go to this school, I am a student so here is what you should know: From the teachers I know, they are all really sweet, and nice. Some do give more homework then others, but that is just how it is. The students are semi-diverse. But it is the area. The work itself is fine, I will not comment because I am not a fan of work in general. They have cheesy socials sometimes, but have good sports activities like track, soccer, softball, wrestling, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, and more. They have clubs like Improv, and stuff to do at lunch when you are board. They have pretty good elective choices like Woodwork, art, drama, choir, computer science, Spanish, etc. Those are the most common and will probably be there forever. They do also have a good band if your interested. But that could change since you are reading this. Over all this is just a fun, interactive, interesting school that has lots of possibilities, things to do, and you feel like you are all part of one big family.I hope this has helped you.

When we started school here I had two students here, one that is advanced and one that struggles a bit. I feel like both have been treated equally and fairly and after a year here both are now advanced. The entire staff takes time, participates in their students academic successes and makes sure they work as a team to help students along. They are open to discussions and encourage them.

I feel like this school is doing as well as it possibly can with the tools it has been given. Many of the kids are rough, and I hate to send my son into that environment. However, the teachers are fantastic, and go the extra mile to ensure top-notch learning and happy, fulfilled kids. My son's teachers (Mr. and Mrs. Kemper) stay late almost every day and tutor kids who need help. They also come in early in the morning for the same reason. The cross country team takes first every year, and the drama department is awesome. The school is also a philanthropic environment. There's a lot of charity and helping others (food, clothing) that goes on at Edna Hill. Brentwood's been having some problems and it shows, but Edna Hill does its best to make things better. Edna Hill's teachers and principal, Kirsten Job, are hardworking, caring, and creative problem solvers. Honestly, they rock.
