I really have not had a good experience with this school. We are actually looking into another school for next year. If your child has any kind of behavioral issues or learning disability do NOT put them in this school. There is a reason they only have 3 stars. A “C” is passing but it doesn’t mean it’s good.

Im satisfied in this school. My daughter started Preschool and now shes a kindergarten at San Marino elem school. I saw my daughters progress, she's learning a lot. Im very thankful for the teachers in this school. But they need to have a cross guard for the students safety. Overall, I like this school for my child. Hoping that the next school year will still be great and exciting for the children.

This school is great academically. My child started kindergarten there and he was doing great until he reach third grade and his grades started to deteriorate. Now that he is in fourth grade he began to have behavioral problems and kept on getting his teachers e-mail complaining about my child's "unusual behavior". I asked them to see the other end of the spectrum what causes my child's sudden turnaround which was about bullying but they don't listen. They insist that he is troublesome but he is not. The principal called for a meeting and I was caught off guard as there was his teacher, the school psychologist, and resource person. I was speechless as they kept on insisting that the kid has problems at home. Blaming all the issue to the parent not to them. My poor child has to suffer on their unfair, and unreasonable judgment towards him. All they care about is the school standing not on whether the children are learning or not. What happen to the teachers of the old times when kids used to learn and not just to maintain the school standing. Very upset with this school , very unemotional and they don't care less.

Both of our children attend San Marino. It is a school with no perks. Our PTA leaves much to be desired. The school lacks family participation. Pretty boring school. My cheif complaint would have to be the lack of any cross guards during drop off and pick up hours. It is very dangerous when you are walking near the school parking lot. We have almost been hit on three different occasions. They are finally putting up cones but that is it. I guess a child has to get injured before our school sees it fit to do more. So sad.
