Campo Elementary School

My experience at this school was not good. We have witnessed the fact that the staff just does not care about the kids are they lack the skills and knowledge on how to handle kids.. It was obvious most are there for a paycheck and that is all..

My kids have done great here and I have been happy with the teachers. There are some issues but these are present at every school and they seem to originate at other students homes, not school and I don't hold the teachers nor the principal responsible for other parents. They do what they can and use research based strategies.

Very poor, the school needs a serious overhaul

Wow, how far this school has come. Most parents recall stories of deficiencies and above all Bully ism at this school. Well it appears that finally the new superintendent has hit the jackpot as she appointed a new principal for the year 2014-2015. A very hands on person who is not afraid of taking problems heads on one by one. As a parent of two children who had considered other schools for my kids to transfer to (no nearby appropriate schools), I am pleased and relieved to see and hear my children having a much more positive experience and attitude which, ultimately has translated into much higher safety, grades and efficiency. We have gone from them not wanting to go to school because of bullies to where they get up in the morning looking forward to go to school and learn. It's certainly my hope that the superintendent does not move the leading person from this school since finally a perfect match between the dedicated school staff, teachers, PTSA, and the principal has been struck.
