Beware of the yard duties, My nephew goes here. He has been bullied by two of them. One in particular even put marks on his arm from yanking him around on the playground. Its really sad when you can't trust district employees with children and it is not easy to fire them. Bullying can cause emotional damage to a child which can have long term effects.

This is my daughters 3rd and final year at Sulphur Springs, and I am a proud Mustang Parent. The PTA is Great, I can not express their hands own start to finish events that is fun for students and parents alike. Parent involvement is excellent. I can't overlook the teachers giving that little extra to come out to control traffic. The Principal Mrs. Peglar has an easy going easy to approach disposition that is comforting and friendly. How they use technology to give parents access to their kids progress and behavior is great, Robotics, Coding, Music, and other after school programs is awesome to have at our disposal. Despite traffic duty, the teachers are well qualified and work hard to get the best results from the students. Can't overlook the Maintenance, Cafeteria, Volunteers, Grounds Crew, Bus Drivers, its like a well oiled machine. Great work Sulphur Springs. We're going to miss you next year.

Love! Love! Love! My daughter is in Mrs. Dunn's class and my daughter and I couldn't be happier! My daughter is in Kindergarten and is already sounding out and reading words on her own. The parents, teachers and staff are very involved and the school community is all around fantastic! As a nervous, attached & overprotective, first time school parent, I am very happy with this school and especially her amazing teacher!

This school is fantastic! We are so technologically advanced, each classroom is equipped with two SMART boards, a digital document camera, and about 9 iPads, so the kids can take AR tests as often as possible (whether they take one a day or an astonishing three per day) without rarely having to wait longer than a few minutes during the allotted AR testing time. We also have a computer lab with 35 apple computers that each class visits weekly where they receive typing instructions and also have the opportunity to test AR and their math facts. The PTA is very active and I find that to be a blessing because we wouldn't have music, art, movement, and theater rotations or field trips for every grade level, two science labs, nor assemblies without their efforts. In the seven years we have been at this school, my two kids have interacted with 11 teachers and they have always been treated with kindness and respect. Our new Principal worked very hard to get to know the 600+ children in the school and their parents and put teacher training for the new Common Core standards as a top priority last year to assure they were as prepared as possible for the new year. It's a great school!
