The teachers are wonderful, hard working and caring! The staff is like a family and is there to teach and care for all of the students.

As current staff, I can say that our school has displayed consistent elevation as far as our education. Homework that is given, is more than fair amount at each grade level. As for the ostentatious comments about Mrs. Morgan, I do not understand them. She addresses all issues that are actually brought to her attention & not mumbled about. Negative remarks are probably from parents that are not involved or are just plain bitter that Mrs. Morgan is principal. I do however think we could have more direct approach to conveying issues to our parents.

I used to teach at Orange. I was there before and after Mrs Morgan. It was more respectable before. Shanda didn't know the names or tracks of half the staff. She took several leaves of absence. For being an experienced principal she was CLUELESS about so many basic educational things. Overall the teachers were great and like many reviews, we took care of bullying. My students and parents were always amazing. Shanda is the only problem there. She has no people skills or enough intelligence to run a school like Orange.

I don't agree with the previous review regarding Mrs. Morgan. I think she is doing the best she can with a highly populated school. My child has been at Orange for 4 years now. Our experience has been pretty good, The staff including Mrs. Morgan have been more than willing to help when we have asked for it. If you expect help without asking for it then you may not get it. Parents have to understand that with the budged cuts and lack of resources the Schools are really burdened. Don't be shy to contact the school with requests or concerns, they will help if asked !In fact one thing I am pleased with is the "no bullying" policy at school. The principle and assistant principle tackle bullying issues as soon as they start so that they do not escalate.
