I can’t attest to all metrics in your Great Schools review, but I can attest to the commitment of Eastvale Leadership to the protection, wellness, and success of most their most prized possession - Eastvale students, true Defenders of children. For the first time today, I met Roosevelt’s “Defenders of Children” - Dr. Jeremy and Dr. Michael - in addition, to other Roosevelt/District Leadership. Although not your typical “Make-a-Wish” wish, (no Grammy or Heisman Trophy winner involved). Witnessing child milestones - rolling over, crawling, walking, a first word, then preschool, kindergarten, middle school and junior high, cumulating in high school graduation - is EVERYTHING to a parent, and high school graduation, I would argue, is the most meaningful of all milestones for a parent - a sense of accomplishment felt by both parent and child as no parent sits through their child’s high school graduation ceremony without reliving every childhood milestone, in a state of disbelief, “how did this happen...just yesterday...” Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Jeremy, Dr. Michael, and other Roosevelt team members for creating the ultimate make a “Make-A-Wish” for my dear friend, a nursing colleague, an amazing Roosevelt parent, and Defender of cancer patients, last minute, on your day off, and Holiday. Drs. Jeremy and Michael you “Talk the Talk” and “Walk the Walk.” Again, thank you for creating happiness and beautiful memories and in the midst of deep sorrow and lastly for formally recognizing that there’s no job more important than that of a parent.

I am very happy with the teachers and administrators. The teachers genuinely care about their students. I hope the school continues in the same path.

I went to this ERHS and I loved this school, the staff is friendly and very involved and students work together as one big family. Everyone is always working toward striving to get the highest in everything whether it's AP scores or the football team everything is a competition but in the best way possible. Teachers are very supportive and want to make sure you're always doing your best. Best high school experience a school can provide :) class of 2014

Eleanor Roosevelt is a great school for being only 5 years old. It has state of the art classrooms, olympic pool, tennis courts, advanced music and band program, facilities to enrich student activities and a steadily rising academic tract. With the retiring Superintendent coming from highly rated Walnut School District handing the reigns over to a capable Michael Lin, things are vastly improving for CNUSD and Eastvale schools. School ratings change constantly with student demographics from 1 year to the next and I can say the students now coming up from Middle and Elementary schools are academic achievers. I feel student success is mainly driven by the student and parents not just teachers responsibility alone. High parent participation from my own observation from school parent activities along with engaged teachers are driving high test scores. Eventually Eastvale, as the student demographics is changing will be very very academically strong like other blue ribbon districts. Looking at the elementary school achievements these children will be driving the middle and High school scores up as they are promoted.
