All in all it was an okay experience. Academically it was easy and honestly too easy. Students weren’t challenged enough. With drama and bullying I don’t think administrators were very good at helping solving it some admins come off very cold and unhelpful. A lot of admins made bad decisions on how to solve problems around the school. Electives are definitely a really good thing about the school, there’s a wide range and the teachers are nice. But, the pe system is worst thing I’ve ever experienced. Don’t get me started on how unfair and unorganized these pe classes were. So many kids at the same grade level were given different tasks. Some classes were way easier than others. A lot of the coaches come off as vain and cold. They were too demanding and strict on kids. They made kids run way too much and ironically, it just made pe an unhealthy experience. So many kids would literally get sick to not go to pe, we literally loathed going to pe. The environment in pe wasn’t great either kids were let to do or say anything. Kids in pe were very toxic and no one got involved to help, not one adult. The pe system needs to be payed attention to, many kids are suffering because of it. It’s messed up and never spoken about, we are just expected to go with it because it’s “healthy” and we’re getting exercise but instead it was a very unhealthy experience for me. I dreaded going to school because of pe. Pe needs to be discussed more.
