Elizabeth Pinkerton Middle School

We have had a horrible experience with Pinkerton Middle. The number of late start, minimum days, and reverse minimum days are ridiculous. I am not sure when the students are suppose to actually learn. EGUSD needs figure out a way to keep these teachers happy so they will want to work for our kids. Our children deserve better.

Some kids are mean to people for no reason and the kids are to shy to write a report because they will be labeled a "snitch" which is another form of bullying. Sometimes rude comments are made to another student not once not twice but constantly, so the student writes a report and all the student(s) guilty get is an OCS. I feel like maybe that is ok in some cases but in other cases the students need a little more. Other than that I love the teachers and other staff and how the students are treated. They have many opportunities for life ahead.

I love the diversity of the school, and the opportunities. My son enjoys it there. I wish teachers reached out a bit more to parents individually.

My daughter really enjoys the school and she is being challenged academically, I can't ask for anything better. Very good kids.
