Both of my kids went though this school and have had excellent teachers every year! The staff is caring and they have a beautiful garden, excellent band program and take the students on a lot of neat fieldtrips!

I feel very fortunate to be able to send my kids to this school. It serves a diverse population and does an excellent job providing students with the support they need to reach their full potential. I have been impressed with the professionalism and quality of teachers and staff. The enrichment opportunities are wonderful and the school has some great traditions from a Yosemite trip in 4th grade to Lassen in 6th.

First, they put up with my older son (no easy task when he was that age). Now, my younger son (now 5th grade) is having the most wonderful experience there! Mr Looper (the head cheese) should be cloned and put into every school!! He shows how much he really cares about everyone (kids and parents alike) every single day. My son needs to be on a 504 plan, but I have never needed it at this school. All but one teacher has been willing and able to handle my sons issues without it. I am going to hate having to leave this school! <3

This is a great school and such an ideal fit for my young kids. Mr. Looper is "THE BEST PRINCIPAL" and the staff surrounding him are great. The two ladies in the front office are always friendly and helpful. As a parent, I was very critical about the education my children was going to receive and didn't expect to have them stay at this school for very long; however, as I got to know the teachers, principal, and parents of this school, I realized a school is more than just a number. My kids are in the "GATES" program and they are doing well. This is the only school in the district that has an intact GATES program during school hours, which is great. It's not just a school, it's a community.
