1 out of 10. Horrible school where discrimination and racism is shown as acceptable.

Horrible. Attending this school as a child really did horrors to my childhood. Looking back I can see where my self esteem began to dissipate.

The kids have ipads in their classrooms, they do AR tests online, and many other things through computers. Had to move my kids to this school even though I was expecting the worst. Turns out they are more advanced than my kids previous private school and my kids had alot of catching up to do!!! My kids love this school so much more than the private one they used to go to. They love how every friday they have friday flag, where the whole school and staff meet out by the flag and do recognitions, activities, and a classroom presents a different university each week. They also love how they have spirit days and many activities. What we dont like is that parents are not aloud to be with their kids during breakfast or lunch, there is a big parking issue that needs to be fixed. There are all kinds of teachers here, some more communicative with parents and some not so much. Most of the staff only talks to you when they think you are doing something youre not supposed to like waiting for school to start in areas they dont want you to be(like the shade) or by the library or issues like that. Other than that no greeting or friendliness whatsoever.

We moved from Carlsbad where my children went to school since they started kinder and I had to transfer them to Pioneer since this is our home school now. My kids having to leave their friends was hard and Pioneer didnt make it n e easier. Once you drop your kids off your not allowed to come back in until school is out. You cant have lunch with them or sit with them at breakfest. The staff are very rude and the teachers dont know how to communicate with the parent. Also there are no P.E, art, music... Etc... I wish I xould drive my kids back to the school they went to in Carlsbad.
