The longer my child attends this school, the more she becomes disheartened and uncomfortable. We've had many, many meetings with school 'leadership', and nothing has improved. Both of my children have been 'bumped' out of classes and programs that they pre-qualified for, because the staff decided that 'someone better came along'. Meaning, someone they could get more money for enrolling than they do with my children. I'm so sickened by this school.

If you are into football or Ag then this is your school. If you are looking for a well rounded education for your child, this in not the place. They claim to have these incredible programs like a coffee shop for culinary. There are only about 4 or 5 students who participate in the coffee shop. The other classes sit and watch TV. The science program is a huge facade. I put my son in the Digital Media class and at least 50% of the time they can't use the computers. The network is down or they are not allowed to access the information. What is the point of that? There is a huge lack of electives. Unless you are into sports, there is nothing for students to do after school. There is nothing for them to do IN school. There is nothing that makes them excited to go to school. Nothing to look forward to. There is no band, no music, no art. I guess that every child in Esparto is suppose to get a sports scholarship to go to college. That is where the money is going. Unless your child is a baseball or football star, your child will sit, bored and uninspired. Your student will be treated like a number, a statistic. They aren't interested in your students success, just their attendance. So they can get paid to spend more money on fields for the board members children.
