Forestville Academy

I have never seen such a caring staff at a school. All the students are treated as family. I would recommend this school to anyone.

The principle would rather see you go, than help you out of an emotionally abusive 4th/5th combo class. (2014-2015 school year)

Foretville School certainly has its flaws, but both of my children have been here since preschool and have had wonderful, caring teachers. We've had solid art, music and a fantastic drama program, as well (one of the best and most unique drama programs K-8 in all of Sonoma County I would imagine). Neither of my kids (a boy and girl) have experienced bullying, and it's hard for me to even imagine where some of the comments about bullying on this site even come from. I have friends with children at other regional schools, and I fail to see how the bullying situation at Forestville is any worse than anywhere else. In fact, I'd say it's probably less of a problem at Forestville than other schools.

Avoid this school! Unless you want your child bullied by teachers. If your child doesn't fit their mold I can guarantee your child will be ostracized. I'm getting ready to make a call to the Dept. Of Education with my concerns. Please take the time to review these reviews. I didn't and I regret it to the fullest.
