My daughter graduated Hopkins last year(2017) and she enjoyed her junior years life a lot. I have to special thanks to Mr. Conway. Other than the strong academic requirement, my daughter learnt that there was so fun in Music thru her school years. Everyone worked hard in the orchestra and band to bring honer to themselves and the school. Study environments were positive in last two years (Students were friendly and worked hard and I did not see a sign of bullying) . Only couple individual teachers were not effective and you could not expect too much as everyone should understand the ratio between the teachers and the students. I got more upset on some monster parents always complained this and that because the teachers did not give their kids' an A. Hopkins is a great school and my kid loves it and I appreciate all the hard working teachers and staff.

If you are looking for committed teachers, this is not the school. If your kids excel in a competitive environment, this is the school.

i am a seventh grader at hopkins 2016-2018, and so far it's been awesome. the teachers teach the concepts very well, and if you ask them, they will reteach it. Some teachers even have time afterschool for you to go and visit them to either ask a question about what they taught , or learn something new. Hopkins is a very friendly community as well with very little issues with bullying, it's mostly only friendly teasing. Some teachers don't really care about what you do, and just assign random things just for the sake of school, but there are very few teachers like this. all of the elective courses are fun and engaging and you have a wide variety of choices, from a language, to computer skills to art.hopkins really pushes you to make you the best, and helps you a lot throughout school,it is also a very competitive school, but nonetheless it is one of the best in academics, sports, and anything else that you could think off. i am proud to be a Hawk and you will be too if you are going to hopkins. Good Luck!!!!!!
