Former substitute here. This school had some of the worst behavior problems I've ever seen. I've worked with several districts and countless schools and grade levels, and this school was one of the worst managed institutions I've worked with. Classrooms were so dirty that students had their paperwork stuck to the desks because neither the teachers nor the custodians bothered to make sure students had clean desks. Totally disgusting. No one should send their child here. Diamond Valley and Dartmouth are BY FAR better choices.

This is the second year my child has been going to this school. We moved from another area and was hesitant to start a new school and make new friends. So far he has done well and his grades are great. He enjoys school and has made good friends. He tells us of things going on and we seem to have a good communication. He looks forward to going to school and I think that is a good sign. The principal is a few years new but is very optimistic. I think given the demographic of the area this school is going in the right direction and getting better every year.

My daughter has been going to this school for 2 years. The administration is a bunch of liars and the teachers are not even teaching the kids as they should. They let the other children in the class help each other instead of the teacher because they are too busy... The (API) is horrible for this school. The quality of teaching is just awful as is the curriculum for the school. The bullying and language of most of these kids are disgraceful. The teachers need a timeout and need to go back to school for their attitudes as well. My daughter got slapped from a boy during passing period and it took the school 3 days to remove him from her class and suspend him (for only 5 days). Then when he returned, the school put him back in her class again. How stupid is the school. It took me another 2 days to get him removed again. Then they put him in her lunch period and pe class. He eventually got expelled from the school after being suspended several times during the year!

This school has an amazing staff and students! The staff works really hard to support students from the toughest parts of the district. I've been to some of the community events that they offer they are great. It's too bad only the negative parents take the time to write "reviews".... Oops, I mean complaints. Good people and a great school!
