Helen Stacey Middle School

Stacey is as competitive as what is offered in private or charter schools. They have a rigorous curriculum, excellent teachers and leadership, clubs, sports, dances, extra-curricular activities, Multi-Cultural Night, PBIS, Claw Club rewards, AVID, a brand new Science building, and very impressive gym. Stacey has the highest SBAC Smarter Balance test scores in the Westminster district in both English and Math. They have Jupiter Grades for parents to get alerts about grades and communicate with teachers. It is a safe school and all students are encouraged to learn at their highest potential.

My son is in 8th grade at Stacey. I went to Stacey as a child and hated it. His experience is the polar opposite. Prinicpal DeBritton has made it a place where kids want to come and feel safe. There is no bullying. The middle school drama is kept to a minimum. The teachers are great and the use of technology makes my life easier.

The best compliment I can give this school is that my son is Happy! He told me the other day, "the teachers care". When my son is happy I am happy. This says a lot for the Principal and staff.

my daughter is entering Stacy in the Fall. I amnot able to comment at this time other than I have heard some very good things about the school. I will say I was impressed with how well the parent night was organized and very informative.
