I moved to Huntington Beach so my Son could attend Newland elementary and I am so glad that I did. The teachers are in a class of there own and the school is one of the best out there. If you care about your child education and want them in a great atmosphere, William T. Newland elementary is the school for you.

I love this school! Both of our children attended Newland from k-5 and were provided a solid education by teachers and administration who strive for 100% success. As you know, due to budget cuts, some art programs and other "non essential" programs were cut. This didn't stop the administration at Newland, who in response, went out, wrote and won many grants to companies to give our children exposure to things that other elementary schools did not provide. For example; The Frieda Belinfante Class Act partnership connects the Pacific Symphony to a select number of Orange County elementary schools each year. Schools are invited to participate in this unique partnership program through a competitive application process. Class Act strives to enhance existing school music programs by providing additional musical experience through the Symphony. Focusing on five main "contact points" with schools, the program works to increase awareness of, and involvement with, symphonic music for elementary school students, their families and educators. We have participated in class act for 5 years and hope for many more.

My son has attended the early intervention (pre-K) program for his autism spectrum disorder here for 2 years. He has had excellent help from his teacher and the special education aides and specialists. He has gotten an excellent individual program to meet his needs and is thriving. The staff is great and seem to have endless energy and enthusiasm.
