Jamul Intermediate School

My son has had a great experience at JIS. He has grown notOnly academically, but socially as well. We love the small student body and close relationships we’ve built with his teachers!

If I could I would give this school no stars. It is absolutely awful. I felt the need to write a review because there were no recent ones. Yes, this school is still terrible. The administration is unwilling to help children with any difficulty. My child was in the GATE class and was treated terribly by the teacher. Several parents said their child was miserable in the class. The teacher must have tenure. The principal doesn't actually "do" anything to solve problems. She's there to smooth things over. She's also the Superintendent. That makes things difficult to go up the ladder when things don't get resolved. Most families switch schools after no change. Very sad .
