Abraham Lincoln Elementary School

Wonderful! My daughter loves being a Lincoln lion and I love the high touch communication the teachers and administration are giving parents at this difficult time with Covid.

Both our boys love, love love this school! The sense of community that is deliberately fostered by the principal, teachers, and dedicated parents say everything. The teacher are kind, caring, and passionate about what they do, and most importantly, parents seem calm and happy -- not stressed and helicoptering over their kids to achieve, which I know is not the case at some of the local elementary schools. Kids can be kids, without the pressure of achievement and performance -- and perhaps this is why they do so well academically and social-emotionally. After Schoo, my boys are picked up by the amazing CV Park staff and walked to the community after care program that picks up right at Lincoln. We could not be happier with the experience, and we LOVE Lincoln. Go Lincoln Lions!! :)

We moved to La Crescenta years ago for the schools and our family couldn't be happier with Lincoln Elementary. A great school starts with effective leadership at the top and it radiates thru a caring and professional teaching staff and a sympathetic office staff and that positive attitude reveals itself in happy kids that are enjoying learning at school. When either of our two children have any issues, their teachers are very hands-on with helpful solutions and are VERY involved. Looking back on where our kids were last summer, they have both moved an amazing distance forward with their skills and reading in this last year. Excellent leadership (we are gonna miss Mr Williams) Fantastic teachers. Great staff. Plenty of involved parents that are happy to volunteer with events and activities. Our kids are happy to go to school in the morning and that says everything.

Both our boys goto Lincoln. We have had a wonderful experience and really like the teachers, they have had. The school has great communication with parents and is always looking to get better. They seem to really care about the students.
